Wash pulled a face, agreeing with Shepherd, but knowing that Zoe wouldn't wait forever. Life as a criminal wasn't the best environment to bring up a baby in, but there would get to a point that she wouldn't take no for answer.

"We ain't discovered aliens," Wash said. "Space travel... There ain't be much FTL, some to get out to where we are now, but it's too expensive."
